0:02 ok
0:06 over the next eight years 1.3 million jobs will be created in the high tech
0:10 sector
0:11 the whole area intelligent sensors is this going to
0:16 be Marion explosive growth you know about international market is measured
0:20 in billions now
0:21 but it’s estimated to rise to trillions in the years ahead
0:24 sensor technology is the little sensors that you have
0:27 and all other electronic devices
0:31 sensors in your cell phone and the sensors communicate between each other
0:34 an awesome aid communication between other devices as well
0:38 sensors can have much more than seven senses is some sort of device
0:42 that can detect a pic the chemical
0:45 temperature pressure blood sugar the smart ones will communicate
0:50 to you and to other machines in the future we heard
0:53 creating devices and the Internet of Things will be our devices communicating
0:57 amongst themselves Orlando and Florida
1:01 for many reasons I missed out on the first big round
1:05 manufacturing I’ll and the next generation
1:09 back won’t be having action than me
1:12 advanced manufacturing for but much of the product will come out
1:17 Sanderson’s shipped in the belly airplane US those wonderful play
1:21 with new inventions new discovery and so forth but
1:26 they seem to be manufactured somewhere else we cannot compete in manufacturing
1:31 by polluting our air more are working cheaper
1:35 well we can do is work smarter in simple terms
1:39 development advanced manufacturing Research Center that will serve as a
1:43 magnet to attract
1:45 and grow advanced manufacturing smart sensor development
1:49 overtime and we want to try and position Central Florida
1:52 and the state of Florida to to capitalize on those opportunities
1:56 don’t
2:03 Austin Texas is day
2:06 technology method
2:09 from the 80’s on in the nineteen eighties on really work
2:14 inconsistent and collaborative ways to develop
2:18 writing industry and they put in the kind served
2:21 resources into developing the talent pool to support that
2:25 it paid huge dividends for the billions of dollars
2:28 and capital investment and very high quality jobs
2:33 and highly educated people moving to the region
2:36 to the point that they are not considered one of the tech hot spots
2:40 one sematech was established here is a hub for semiconductor industry
2:45 development
2:45 nation a lot of the supply chain tear the products we build
2:50 up for our customers are sensors for security and defence
2:56 novel medical device losing DNA sequencing genomic sequencing
3:01 devices for Life Sciences there’s a lot of unique opportunities for women in
3:04  this industry because there aren’t very many
3:06 there’s a lot of educational up opportunities and benefits here because
3:11 and
3:11 high-tech industry that has been well ingrained into Austin
3:14 the economic impact in Allston is in the billions
3:19 every major technology company in the world has got some
3:23 if they’re not manufacturing distributing the whatever
3:27 the public-private partnership that provided some infrastructure
3:32 in the coast properly with their university to change the economy in that
3:37 region I think it’s the
3:39 relatively healthy city it has a lot of parks and
3:42 environment for recreation I as the state city has grown up its one other
3:48 thats menus for live music and so that’s attractive to young engineers
3:54 up there’s been a lot of investment for and in the city
3:58 for Performing Arts Center
4:00 fine art and that’s just been and great quality of life
4:04 and its continued to improve over the past 20 years
4:11 on earth volunteers keep Austin weird and that’s kinda late 60’s 70’s
4:15 element but it’s really evolved into quite a
4:18 metropolitan City their economy
4:22 expanded its alleged rapid pace she resisted
4:26 austin saw what happened and how it happened it’s really a
4:30 to amazing story
4:37 all the areas that are going to be very important your your manufacturing are
4:41 things that
4:42 are factored really good at holding optics and photonics nanotechnology
4:47 the for Advanced Manufacturing Research Center will be located on
4:51 East 192 about two miles west affects
4:55 244 the turnpike it’s about building the the most advanced
4:59 manufacturing development lab slashed fabrication facility
5:03  potentially in the world out in Osceola County outside Qasemi
5:07 not far from my four close to airport which is going to serve as the bridge
5:13 that one that will allow us to cross this valley of death we call it between
5:17 the
5:18 academic researchers within universities and
5:21 industrial partners which will be making high-tech devices for the commercial
5:25 market
5:25 what we’re trying to do in this lab is to try to make a thing too late a device
5:30 that can produce hundreds worth thousands of colors
5:33 from a single device this way we be able to
5:36 increase the information carrying capacity to a fiber optic connection
5:40 the technology is at the point we were able to demonstrate
5:44 very very unique functionality and capabilities within the
5:48 research environment but universities are really not in the position
5:52 to do mass manufacturing right now we have some significant regional
5:57 partnerships
5:58 with the high-tech corridor with the universities across the state
6:02 course bossy Ola we need to do something to
6:05 to change the economic condition possibly can
6:09 we’ve been an agrarian and tourism based industry
6:12 we can be in a ship that dynamic and try and move ourselves away from a bedroom
6:15 community
6:16 to a community that has a complete lifestyle
6:19 because back to the 20,000 high-paying jobs
6:23 technical jobs in eighty thousand indirect jobs not all of them will be
6:27 for masters and doctoral level people
6:30 that’s why the great things about manufacturing music covers or
6:33 umbria powerful talent levels degree levels
6:37 and it offers no really great jobs impact to their
6:40 terms and implements large disney world and is on par
6:44 with wooden medical season so far what Medical City
6:47 will be it works to stimulate robust economic develop- in
6:52 if we can do that here I blame can all we need is to fund
6:56 we’ve got an opportunity you have another almost a miracle if you will
7:01 body and Orlando for
