1:48 from Japan; from all over.

2:26 No nation has more who are more skilled,
2:28 creative, and productive as The United States.

2:34 and research institutions are second to none.

2:40 >> The U.S. has a wide variety of investors
2:44 who inject money to support innovation.

2:48 >> As we started to build out our product,
2:50 the requirements we had
2:52 from a technical talent standpoint simply didn’t
2:55 exist anywhere else in the world,
2:57 so if we wanted the best talent,
2:59 it meant we had to open an office here.
3:02 >> Manufacturing in the U.S. has become cheaper
3:04 and cheaper in many ways.
3:06 The cost of energy is a lot cheaper
3:08 than it used to be.

3:17 summit participants announced
3:19 at least $13 billion in U.S. investments
3:24 which support an estimated 32
3:27 and a half thousand jobs.
3:29 >> We have a real U.S. organization here,
3:32 so this increases the opportunities for us.
3:37 >> As a young entrepreneur, the ecosystem exists
3:39 for you to be able to,
3:41 kind of start from scratch and build up.
3:42 >> I have a big news, yes.
3:44 We are opening a factory in the U.S. Investment
3:48 over $27 million.
3:51 >> I’m confident that some
3:53 of the companies we met with,
3:55 relationships we’ve met will convert
3:57 to real projects.
3:58 >> U.S. is open for business,
4:00 and the U.S. is a good location for business.
4:04 >> When you’re looking at where you want
4:06 to put your money in the world,
4:06 there’s nothing comparable to The United States.

4:11 >> SelectUSA is sort of the matchmaker,
4:16 if you will, for businesses to find locations
4:19 in The United States to come, open shop,
4:23 or expand their business
4:24 to grow their enterprise.
4:25 >> I think you should take advantage
4:28 of all the resources that are available to you
4:30 to learn more about doing business here,
4:32 and you can start with the Department
4:35 of Commerce, and SelectUSA.
4:37 >> There were, like,
4:39 many sessions that were very valuable
4:41 for me yesterday and today.
4:43 Everything we heard was really showing the huge
4:47 potential of the U.S. as a place for investment.

4:51 >> It’s our second summit,
4:53 and to be amongst double the amount of people
4:56 that came to the first,
4:57 which was quite significant,
4:59 has been very, very positive.
